1. Find the small, hidden purchases

The first step when starting to save is finding out what you actually spend your money on. Keep track and look back on the previous months to find where you spend more than you want. If you want to go even further look at individual receipts and find the unnecessary purchases.

Interest and loan fees is a pain to have every month. Always make sure you pay your debts as soon as you can to get rid of the extra fees. Think long term before you take loans and calculate how they will affect you in the near future.
