If you already know what you want to do on your vacation, and have saved enough. It could be good to spend some extra time comparing your options, and find the cheapest one. How much is a train ticket compared to flying? What saves the most time? Where do you shop and eat for the least amount of money? Could you find cheaper accommodation outside the city center? Put some time and effort into comparing and you’ll save a little.

Make a travel budget

A savings goal gives you a frame of how much you’ll have to spend. When you also have a plan for what everything will cost you can start planning the details.
