Right of exchange and withdrawal and returns

This season's Christmas shopping is upon us and you probably have loads of ideas for your loved ones. But what happens if the ideas aren't so good? If you got the wrong size or color. What if you need to return something?

Return

When you have the option to return an item you typically get a couple of days to get your money back, you’ll find the conditions on the receipt. When returning an item, make sure it’s in the same condition as you bought it.

Right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal depends on where you’ve made your purchase. When shopping online you have a right of withdrawal for at least 14 days. In many cases the buyer need to pay for the return shipping. Make sure you read the conditions before making the purchase. When shopping in a physical store the company does not have to offer a right to withdrawal.

Right of exchange

When exchanging an item you usually get another item or store credit in return. Each store decides themselves if they’ll offer a right of exchange. It’s up to the store to decide the terms, ask an employee if you are unsure.
